Cincinnati area Meat Company forced to make recalls over rubber contamination.

Cincinnati metro area company, J.T.M. Provisions, is being forced to recall just under 15,000lbs of fully cooked beef products due to a possible rubber contamination.

As Fox 19 Cincinnati reported today;

"The Harrison, Ohio company's recall includes pulled barbequed beef products labeled “Bar-B-Q Sauce With Pulled Beef” that were produced on Sep. 23, 2017 that were shipped to retail locations in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio."

The company was unaware of the rubber material contamination until receiving two separate customer complaints.

People are being urged to return any of the 14-oz. sealed plastic tray, covered with a paper sleeve, containing pulled (shredded) bbq-ed beef, labeled “Bar-B-Q Sauce With Pulled Beef” with Julian pack date 17266 to their local retailer or to simply toss them away.

As of now, there have been no reports of injury or adverse reactions related to this recall.
