Will the Alt-Right disappear?

With the surge in Right Wing populism and hate, America has fallen on turbulent times. Instead of attempting to quell the instability, our "president" chooses to stoke the flames as he doubles down on his divisive politics. This hate has led directly to the rise in the Anti-Fascist (AntiFa) movement. Organically chapters and coalitions under many banners have sprung up all over the U.S. Many chapters and coalitions organize independently but will network and work together for large counter-resistance events such as Charlottesville. Many people believe that Charlottesville was a "declaration of war" by the Alt-Right and those allied with the Alt-Right against the Left and America as a whole. Their "ideology" preaches ethnic cleansing, genocide, the separation of races, and emboldens the followers of this movement to act out horrendous crimes including acts of domestic terrorism. The response from the police and government as a whole has been inadequate. They allow these Neo-Nazis to openly organize and march. At the same time they have moved to label those directly combating the Alt-Right as dangerous and terrorists. Black Identity, Anti-Fascists, and The New and Revolutionary Black Panther Parties are just a few groups combating Right Wing extremism and are being targeted by the Federal Government. With Richard Spencer and his ilk planning speeches and events dubbed "Charlottesville 2.0" coming up; we have not seen the end of the violence. If the response in Charlottesville is any indication to what is to come, law enforcement may not be much help either. To all of those are organizing, demonstrating or directly combating the Alt-Right, stay safe and stay sharp. You are on the right side of history.

"For one to say they are for liberation. They must understand that their life may be cut short. They must be able to sleep easy knowing death is a reality." (Article by Jaimes Campbell)
