Op Helping Hands Cincinnati: Holiday Edition

Operation Helping Hands is about the community giving back to the less fortunate.

Without any government aid or assistance, Awakened Cincinnatians has been running this ad hoc program for over three years.

With today being Christmas Eve and the beginning of Hanukkah, it was really amazing to see the high turn out. People were able to get a hot meal and snacks, shoes, coats and many others essential items. Several dozen people came out to provide help to those in need.

The holiday season is normally the tightest for many Americans. Many of us have children that we buy gifts for or traveling expenses to be with loved ones. It can be easy for some to overlook others, especially the less fortunate this time of year, but whatever we struggle with, many others struggle more.

Awakened Cincinnatians once again have shown that homegrown, local charity can make a tremendous difference in the lives of those in your community.
