In Bunker Hill, Indiana every last police officer quit the force.

Former officers on the Bunker Hill police department have said they quit their jobs due to a lack of communication and insufficient or inadequate gear. Along with that, officers were quoted saying the left the department due to requests to “do illegal, unethical and immoral things,” as Fox 59 reported.
“We have had issues with the town board and there are some activities there where I felt like they were serving their own agenda,” said Michael Thomison, who served as Bunker Hill Town Marshal for four years.
The allegations of corruption do not stop there. Police officers claim that they were forced to run background checks on people the city council felt was a threat or political adversary. A few officers declined to do such, and they were threatened.
Former officers with the Bunker Hill department also claim that they only had one set of body armor for their entire department. Mind you, Bunker Hill is not a large area by any stretch but to only have one set of body armor is a little absurd. Pair that along with the clear and rampant political corruption in this town, I am glad these officers resigned.
