CALL TO ACTION: SE Ohio's Own "DAPL"...Save Wayne National Forest!
As the world watches the forces of the state line up against the will of the people in Standing Rock, North Dakota in the fight over the Dakota Access Pipeline, another similar struggle will soon play out in the Hocking Hills of southeastern Ohio.
Wayne National Forest is 260,000 acres of natural beauty in the foothills of the Appalachians. The Bureau of Land Management is one of the federal agencies seeking to lease oil and gas rights in a public auction. It's essential that Ohioans and concerned West Virginians, Pennsylvanians, and Kentuckians speak out loudly against this auction.
Time is of the essence. The online auction is scheduled for December 13th.
