Man arrested with one kilo of heroin during traffic stop
Lamont Outlay, a 30 year old man from Dolton, IL, was arrested for possession of heroin.
Outlay was the passenger in a 2008 Dodge Magnum. Indiana State Police pulled over the vehicle on I-65 S in Tippecanoe Co., for driving too close to other automobiles.
As Fox 59 Indianapolis reported:
Police say the trooper observed indicators of criminal activity when he approached the vehicle. The passenger, Lamont E Outlay, 30 of Dolton, IL was removed and during an officer safety pat down, a kilo of heroin was found.
Outlay was transported to the Tippecanoe County Jail on preliminary charges of dealing a schedule 1 substance, possession of a schedule 1 substance and visiting a common nuisance.

Indiana State Police estimate the value of the seized heroin at $50,000.
Whether you care for the police or not, this is something everyone should be able to get behind. Heroin is a scourge on our society.
